Lt. Col. Juarez, Secretary of the Board of Directors for the Survivor Network, talks about the medical campaigns sponsored by UCADFA (Veterans Disability Support Unit) of the Salvadoran Armed Forces. A much respected and decorated Colonel, Juarez is also the Director of UCADFA and has spearheaded the collaboration between the Unit and several local and international organizations. His hope is to expand the integrated services not just to Veterans injured or disabled during the war, but to all persons with disabilities in El Salvador. He lends much of the popularity of the campaign to the Survivor Network Outreach Workers. Many people and their families are now connected to the services and aware of the newly sponsored campaign thanks to the Outreach Workers.
Once I get the subtitle feature figured out, I’ll be sure to post a link to the translated version of the interview.
